I started in computing by studying and developing low-level embedded systems, which has opened the door to the universe of Linux, networks, and other infrastructure topics. Then I worked on designing on-premises cloud infrastructure for some university laboratories and social organizations. These opportunities led me to engage in several open-source communities all over the world. At the same time, through social initiatives aimed at improving democratic processes in Brazil, I participated in the development of machine learning projects and clustering systems. In the last years, I worked for the gaming industry as SRE, building and maintaining solutions that support millions of daily active users worldwide. Now, I’m building a whole data infrastructure from scratch in a Brazilian startup.
